Cheese was fighting for his life when he was found by a kind Samaritan who rushed him to Yavapai Humane Society. He arrived with a severely damaged left eye and multiple deep cuts along his back and throat, which we believe were inflicted by a coyote.
Thankfully we were able to provide the expert veterinary care Cheese so desperately needed. Today, Cheese’s surgery is behind him and he is well on his way to being fully recovered, all thanks to the generosity of donors like you.
Cheese has shown how resilient animals can be as he heals from having his left eye removed due to extensive irreparable damage. Recently, Cheese found his forever home, where his parents lovingly call him ‘One Eye Jack’. His adopters say he is energetic, full of personality, and easy to love.
