We invite you to come out to Yavapai Humane Society’s Equine Center, located at 3731 N Rd. 1 W, in Chino Valley, Friday April 19th through Sunday April 21st for the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Event happening from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily and until noon on Sunday! We’ll have 20 of our own horses there and BLM is bringing up approximately 35 to 40 more, most of which will be Mustang’s in various stages of training! There will be people there from the Florence Inmate Training Program putting on training demonstrations at 10:00am & 2:00pm on Friday & Saturday. These are the folks who are featured in the new film “Mustang” which is in theaters now! It’s going to be an amazing event! Adoption fees start at $25.00 for untrained animals and $200.00 to $700.00 for trained animals. Also, be sure to ask how you can earn up to $1,000.00 when you adopt an untrained wild horse or burro. If you’re looking for some good food while you’re checking out the horses & burros, on Friday we’ll have Cee Cee’s, Copper State Pizza and Citronita food trucks.  Saturday will feature Cee Cee’s, The Tasty Trailer, Full Circle Mobile Wood Fired Pizza and Citronita.  Closing out the event on Sunday will be Cee Cee’s, Citronita and Prickly Pear Tea Company along with the debut of our new Farmer’s Market that will be taking place every Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm! For more information on the BLM Event, visit BLM.GOV/WHB, call 1-866-468-7826 or visit Yavapaihumane.org.
