Board of Directors

Jack Swarsbrook
President
In my mind, there are few greater joys in life than the unconditional love offered by a companion animal. Helping in any small way to enable people the opportunity to experience that joy through a rescue animal motivates me.

Julie Ellegood
Vice President
From the time we started fostering YHS kittens, I was hooked. These animals have given us so much joy. I have watched as YHS has continued to serve this community and has provided amazing care to the animals. The staff is amazing, and I am privileged to be part of such an exceptional organization.

Paul Reichert
Secretary
“Rescues are the BEST!” (My new mantra since adopting Mahogany at YHS.) It’s a privilege to give back to the organization which makes these adoptions possible.

Bill Pitz
Treasurer
Bill Pitz is a seasoned technology and operations executive with a wealth of experience in mission-critical IT and telecommunications systems. A lifelong animal lover, Bill is dedicated to supporting the mission of YHS and advocating for our furry friends who can’t speak for themselves. When he's not immersed in his professional work, Bill loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and fly as a private pilot. Above all, he cherishes spending time with his family, including his two rescue dogs, Milly and Bailey.

Greg Neneman
Board Member
I am delighted to have been selected to join the YHS Board of Directors. I look forward to helping find new homes for dogs, cats, and horses, bringing joy and happiness to families in our community through the efforts of all involved at YHS. For 48 years, I have actively volunteered, building rewarding experiences and lasting friendships. Recently, I retired after a fulfilling 35-year career at Valin Corporation, where I served as the Director of Business Development. My wife, Leslie, and I enjoy exploring the outdoors and visiting National Parks across the United States. I look forward to working with the YHS team and to exploring the many opportunities that await us in our communities and challenges that may come before us.
